A few weeks ago at our Kenai Rotary Club meeting we had a special guest speaker - Diane Taylor, a Director at Alaska Wildlife Alliance. She spoke about the Alaska Beluga Monitoring Program and concerns for Cook Inlet Beluga Conservation. It's so eye opening to know that beluga groups are specific to a location. Cook Inlet Belugas live and migrate only around here. Even more poignant is that the population has declined from 1200 to *300*. I haven't been able to stop thinking about this since and it's the inspiration for my original and exclusive design that will hopefully help support bringing awareness to the Cook Inlet Belugas 💙
I will be putting together a % of all proceeds to donate to AWA who support not only the Cook Inlet Belugas but other wildlife conservation in Alaska that will include names of everyone who purchases!
